Caring for Caregiver’s, a program of Ability1st, provides free solution focused counseling to explore emotional and physical challenges caregivers’ experience. A caregiver is a person caring for someone sixty years or older who requires assistance with two or more activities of daily living. The caregiver does not need to live in the same home as the person receiving the care. Ability 1st holds caregiver support groups monthly and provide care, support, and the chance to share experiences and challenges with fellow caregivers.
